Currently I am holidaying in Okinawa.
However, Okinawa is a huge place that is made up of many many small islands.
So me and my fren decided to narrow down our holiday to some islands only.
Included in one of our choice is ofcourse Ishigaki island.

Does Ishigaki island sounds familiar to anyone???

Well, if you are a Hana Yori Dango Movie fan, I am sure you will realise what is this island!!!
Yes!!!  I am going to try to go to the beach where they had filmed the part where Domyouji and Tsukasa are left stranded on THE deserted island.  *excited!!!*

Unfortunately this whole week, it is forecast to be a rainy week. o(x_x)o

Anyway, it had been a very exhausting past week for me, with me returning from my Nara trip only to go off to Okinawa 2 days later. I was there ofcourse to celebrate one of my ichiban Tsuyoshi's 30th birthday!!! Tsuyoshi was there for a 2 day concerts in Nara. (Will post my Nara photos later...)

Am so so looking forward to my few days of rest in Okinawa!!!!!!

Today is the 2nd day of the NEWS ZERO 写真展. I had wanted to go yesterday but I was afraid that there will be many people since it is the first day. So I had chosen today to go instead. When I reached there, there were very few people. There is no queue at all and you just take the elevator up to 8th Floor. It is not as bad as what I always thought the Johnnys queue will be!

Minna!!! I tried my best!!! But the place is really really very SMALL! There are about 4 staff standing guard at every corner. So it is really impossible to take any picture at all!!! :(

Beside there were so few people at the exhibition so the staff's attention will always be on you. Maybe someone will be brave enough to take a picture when there are more people!!! The weekend crowd maybe? 

Altogether there are 7 photos of Sho-chan. 2 of the photos are of him in shirt in thoughtful poses with the newsroom as a backdrop (these are shown on the morning news I believed...) The other 5 photos have Sho-chan standing infront of a green background. Looking very HOT and Serious in those poses!!! Kyaaaaaa!!!!!! XDD All the photos are side profile of Sho-chan. He is like looking into the camera for his work and another photographer snap the photo for those poses. It all showed him looking very serious about his role as a newscaster. There is a saying, "a serious and hardworking man is the most kakokii!" I wished I could stand all day there and oogle at those photos. I wished they have put up more of Sho-chan photos.
 
I also liked the photos which they took of Fukuyama of him being involved with the Beijing Olympics. He looked "never aged a day". And the whole exhibition was playing him singing the theme song.

Even though I was there for Sho-chan ONLY, I still took some time to browse through the rest of the exhibition.
The rest of the exhibition features the other Zero newscasters. And also included are some other famous people/artistes/Olympians that were featured in the Zero program as well. 

I really will loved to stay longer and oogled at Sho-chan!!! But as I mentioned, the place is soooooooo small that it seems too weird to stay there for too long! I think I will go back again. 
 
PS: Right now I am now on the Shinkansen on the way to Osaka. Tomorrow I am going to Yoshinoyama 吉野山 in 奈良県 for 桜花見. I still have more of the Zero photos which I took but I will pose them when I am back in Tokyo on the weekend as I had forgotten to bring my memory card USB. 

Maybe I will also drop by Namba cinema where Sho-chan's yatterman costume is currently on display...

But let me sidetrack here abit. Just now I was watching Music Lovers Dream Live 2009... and I must say Kyaaaaaaa!!!
The boys are so FULL of energy!!! It was such a great feeling to see them performing! And it is just like watch concert except that I am looking at them on a screen inside of it being LIVE. I really MISSED seeing them performing live!!!

Today, my arms are so TIRED from carrying all these bottles home! Today start selling. What to do!?!? Who ask a certain someone is advertising for this drink!!!! Gosh!!! This month is just so full of Sho-chan activities! Well, there are altogether 8 figurines to collect.

Yesterday I went skiing in Joetsu.
This is my 3rd time for this year season.

Calling me back to earth! Calling me back to earth!!!!!!

I was in Sho heaven the whole of today and had a hard time pulling myself back to reality again!!!!!!
YESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!  I was at the Yatterman premier which was held at Tokyo International Forum.

And the experience of seeing Sho-chan again (after a long while... ...) was FABULOUS!!!!!!
I had spent about a total of 24 hours (did I really?? ...) with my Sho-buddy, Nanao during all these while!!!
But I couldn't ask for a more enjoyable buddy to spend all these experiences with!!! It was so FUN and I will do it all over again!

Okie! Okie! I already had many requests to write my premier report and which I fully intend to do that!!!
It is just that now I feel like side-tracking abit to catch up on my korean dose of ep 16 Hanadan. I just love Kim Bum and Gu Jun Pyo in this episode...

Anyway, now is already 1am here... so maybe even if I rush out my report now, no one will be reading them till tomorrow... ...

I saw YAMAPI today!!!!!!!!   Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!! 

Ok... Ok...  It was not like I just happened to meet Yamapi on the street or something similar to the extent. *I wished I am that lucky enough!!!*

Well, today I went for NEWS の Koyama's コールplay at Tokyo Globe.
So I was sitting at my seat, waiting for the play to start. And while waiting...
Called it a Johnnys FAN's sixth sense but I have a VERY strong feeling today that there will be some guests coming...
So every time someone walks into the theater, I will observe to see who it is.
As now is the winter, and influenza is quite catching in Japan, so alot of people are wearing masks.
Therefore, I will especially take note of those people coming in wearing masks.
And all the more pay attention if the person is a guy...
However (somewhat disappointed... ), I did not manage to spot anyone and the play begins... and I was immersed into the play. (I will report about the play in another post... if there are Koyama's fans around...)

After 2 hours, the play ended and the whole cast came out for a few encores applause.
There was somewhat a commotion among the audience and I knew immediately that someone famous must have come!
If not, there would not be such a commotion among the audience. 
However, I could not immediately see who it was, due to the position of my seat. 

I was thinking at that time, whoever the guest was, he must have gone out of the theater once the play ended and the lights came on.
Then Koyama came out for 2 solo encores applauses. While he was waving to the audience and thanking them, he kept shading his eyes (due to the spot lights on him) and trying to see to the back of the audience.
(Let me digress here abit... while Koyama was facing the audience and mouthing his thanks, he and me made eye-contact!!! I waved enthusiastically to him and he smiled back in acknowledgement!!! Kyaaaaa!!! Even though I am not a fan... but still... )

Then Koyama announced to the audience that Yamapi had came today!!!
And Koyama was thanking Yamapi for turning up. *SCREAMs* and *GASPs* can be heard from the fans!!! 
Everyone was super excited and turned towards the back of the theater.
I think some staff must have invited Yamapi back inside the theater again.
And viola!!!   Yamapi appeared before my eyes!!!
*SWOOOOOOOOOON*

As I always managed to have really closed-up view of Yamapi during his NEWS concerts (I had managed to touch him a few times during concerts...), I must say here once again that YES!!! Yamapi is really very very good-looking in real person!   He has very good complexion and very definitely an IDOL aura!!!  *bias view???* hehehe...  

He was still spotting his curly Code Blue hairstyle (which I totally adored... as well as some friends...)
However his hair is no longer black in color but now a chestnut blond!!!
If he was to spot this hair color in Singapore, I would have said it is totally so "Ah Beng"!
But Yamapi definitely can carry off this hair color well and with an idol presence. 
Today he was wearing a pale blue trench coat (which is to the waist), with jeans and boots.
Making him looked like a total hunk in a GQ magazine. 

Yamapi is sooooo kakoiiiiiiiii... .

Sighs!!! Sweet dreams tonight with Yamapi...

During these past 2 years of staying in Japan, I had actually met some people eg: friends/acquaintances who had some real life stories or encounters with Arashi themselves (and other Johnnys boys...)!!! 
I had never really shared these stories before (except maybe to some close vox friends) as I was too busy to blog sometimes anyway...  

I was just talking to a friend the other day and I realised I nearly almost forget about some of these stories.
So I thought it will be interesting that once in awhile I will post some of these stories (and also to keep as a memory record for myself...)

Here is one such ストーリー ...

Last year, a friend of mine was in Ginza. It was on a weekday afternoon. (I didn't really ask him why was he there on a weekday afternoon when he was supposed to be working???... but that is not the point here...).

He said that he spotted Nino and Aiba in Ginza and they were doing some filming. I remembered that time when he told me this (sometime in June/July 2008?), there is this episode of "Ageha" which was aired at that time and it was in Ginza. So I know immediately what he was talking about. *Can anyone remembered which episode it was?*

So naturally he also stopped to watch. He said it was quite funny too as some passerby noticed that there were some filming going on. So some of these passerby also stopped and it kind of felt like they were pretending not to notice too much of the filming but yet at the same time my friend said you can see that these passerby were really curious too!!!
 
Ofcourse I asked him how are our 2 boys like and he said that the 2 boys looked really "not bad"... (this coming from a guy which I translated as... YES! our 2 boys looked really kakoii in real life too!!!). He said that Aiba looked to be the more talkative one with lotsa animated actions! Unfortunately being not a fan, my friend didn't stay for long to observe the whole filming as he left soon after.

After hearing the story from him. Instead of being excited over this encounter, I told my friend that he had made 2 HUGE mistakes! x_x

Mistake 1: At this point he should have picked up his mobile and gave me a call!!!! I think no matter where I was at that time (even if I was working...), I would have rushed down in a cab!!!!  (Would probably just tell my boss I had a sudden attack of stomach flu and my doctor is in Ginza area...)

Mistake 2: He did not take any picture!!!! He mentioned other passerby were taking pictures and he did not!?!? (What is my friend thinking???)  I know it will be kind of embarrassing for a guy to take picture but hey! as a friend, he could have put up with the embarrassment and take some pictures for me!!!  x_x

Oh well... would there ever be a chance where I just happened to come across such filming??? ... What a lucky guy!?! Although my friend didn't really think so!!! kekeke...

I had started to watch Ohno's drama Uta no Onnisan.
I must say it certainly was a huge change of character from his last drama Maou.
This drama is definitely more light-heartening to watch.
At this point, I still can't say whether I like it or not...
To be honest, the plot is not that interesting.
If it is not acted by Ohno, I think this drama will be a flop!

But one thing I really need to comment is this the promo poster!!!
This is a very huge poster which tv asahi had put up! (So I can see the details very well...)
And GOSH!!! I think it is too much that they put such shiny/glossy/pinkish lip gloss on Ohno!!!
It makes him looked almost too girly!!!

Yesterday, Tatsuya had delivered the Yatterman movie ticket ordered online through their website.
With it comes the free gift (limited) Yatterman keitai strap.
Hmm... when I first saw the keitai strap, my first thought is that it is much small than expected.
But still, I think it will look cool hanging from my mobile! ;)

KYAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!  I finally managed to lay my hands of Aiba's Green Fingers Chiraishi!!!!

I think Aiba really looked quite gorgeous in these Green Fingers photo shoots.

Plot
This is based on the motion picture (2001) of the same title. Aiba plays Colin (コリン) who is put in an experimental facility prison. There, his elderly roommate Fergus introduces him to gardening. Then Colin discovers he has a talent and passion for growing plants/flowers. His talent is recognised by a gardening guru who encourages him to enter and compete in a national gardening competition. On the love side, Colin meets the gardening guru's daughter and fights for freedom and true love...

This season video at the JFC had Arashi members introducing their latest works. So ofcoz we have Ohno and Sho introducing their "Uta no Onnisan" and "Yatterman". I will skip those parts for now... So it was Aiba's turn to introduce his latest work. First like Ohno and Sho, Aiba had to say what his character's name was. So Aiba introduce that he is playing the character called "コリン". I don't know if it is the way Aiba pronounces it, but it seems very weird... the way he said "Colin" - Japaese version. Alas all the members turned and looked at him and said what a weird character name you have!!! They were teasing him about it!!!!  *hehehe* I think he did tell them to please stop the teasing so he can get on with his introduction. Then he went on to explain that it is a "heartwarming" story. And yes!!! he really uses the english word "Heartwarming"!!! (Not bad Aiba!!! I am impressed with your english vocabulary that you actually know the word "heartwarming"!!! kekeke)... I think Aiba slightly went off track abit with his explanations about how heartwarming the story is because Sho-chan turned over to him and said... Aiba please explained more about the storyline/plot and not how you feel.... hehehe... (well... I cant remember much else since I watched this video about 3 weeks ago...If I have time, I will stream the video.)

All in all, Aiba's part in the video was really funny plus how the rest of the members teased him about it....
